The Youth Sport Trust is delighted to invite you to apply for the Innovation Awards 2009.
These awards are made in recognition of the high quality, innovative work which is taking place in Sports Colleges, Academies with a sport-related specialism and primary schools piloting a PE and sport-related specialism.
We have listened to the evaluations and comments from schools and made significant changes to the Innovation Awards for 2009.
There are four new categories of Innovation Awards for 2009, focusing on different areas of practice in the specialism:
To be eligible for an Innovation Award all you need to do is provide a written account of your activity in the form of a case study.
Schools can submit one case study in each award category. Please note each case study must be different. In addition to this, joint applications can be made between two or more schools.

Please provide as much information and evidence as possible to support your application. The better the information you provide, the better your chance of winning!

The closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 19 December 2008.
Each category will have a winning and highly commended school with a prize donated by a supporting partner. Keep visiting the School Sport Xchange for more details as they are announced.
The winning and highly commended schools will be announced at the Sports Colleges Conference Gala Dinner on 11 February 2009.
