Regional Multi-skill Academies (RMSA)
In 2008 the Youth Sport Trust ran eight pilot Regional Multi skill Academies in partnership with eight Higher Education Institutions across England.
The aim of the RMSA is to:
- To challenge the most talented young people from the region still further;
- To offer MSA practioners CPD around the selection of young people onto an MSA and then the content of the SSP-led MSA.
As this is a pilot phase only a limited number of SSP have been invited for 2008 but the outcomes from these pilots will shape MSA work in the future.
