The School Sport Xchange (SSX) has grown substantially over the last year which is why we’ve given it a clean out over the summer.
You’ll notice that the SSX is still divided into four areas: the Xchange, the Sports Colleges area, the School Sport Partnerships area and the Xchange Plus. To make navigating around the areas easier we’ve redesigned the Xchange homepage to signpost you to your relevant area and help you understand how to use the site quicker and easier. We’ve also added new pages and revamped our menu system.
The Xchange
The Xchange provides you with general information on the School Sport Xchange and how to make the best of using our website. It is also the dedicated home for the following types of schools that we work with: Trust and Foundation Schools, Leadership Partner Schools and Academies.
Changes: We’ve added a new ‘About the School Sport Xchange’ section to help guide you through the different areas, added our publications in easy to download pdfs and added a new logo area, where Sports Colleges and SSPs can download logos.

The Sports Colleges area
If you work in a Sports College, this area of the School Sport Xchange is where you need to go to find our tailor made information, documents and resources.
Changes: We’ve added a third level of navigation which will help you find what you need quicker and easier.

The School Sport Partnerships area
If you work in a School Sport Partnership, this area of the School Sport Xchange is where you need to go to find our tailor made information, documents and resources.
Changes: Over the summer we have introduced the SSP Enhance, and you’ll also find information on the FESCo project which we running in Further Education Colleges across the country.

The Xchange Plus
The Xchange Plus area holds value-added information such as the Learning through Sharing case study packs, video case studies, forums, research and headteacher updates.
Changes: We have introduced a third layer of navigation to help you find information quicker and easier.
