Shine takes place the same week as National School Sport Week. This is a national schools festival to celebrate and showcase talent in all our young people.
Shine invites schools to become part of a national drive to unlock a wide diversity of talent in young people, to look at all the year’s achievements and find creative ways of celebrating and showcasing them.
Schools are encouraged to look at everything they have achieved over the year across all departments, inside and outside of the curriculum, and think of creative ways to celebrate and showcase case them within this week. Schools will be provided with resources and promotional packs with suggestions, given regional media support and become part of a national campaign.
