Job Description
Here at the Youth Sport Trust we believe passionately in using the
power of sport to improve the lives of young people. Working in
conjunction with Specialist Sports Colleges, School Sport
Partnerships and the National Governing Bodies of Sport we are
creating the impetus to transform the competition pathways and
talent support structures surrounding our young talented athletes.
This is your opportunity to lead the sports performance strategy
that will drive this change.
Head of Talent & Competition
£45,000 – £65,000 + Benefits • Flexible Location
Your vision, passion and ambition will transform the support and
pathways offered through school sport to the UK’s most talented
young sports people and make a positive contribution to our future
sporting achievements. Inspired by the recent success of Team GB
in the Olympic and Paralympic Games, you’ll use your significant
experience of school sport and National Governing Body structures
to drive the transformation of competitive school sport and talent
support.
Reporting to the Director of Sport, you’ll be a key ambassador for
the Trust as you build relationships with a wide range of partners
and lead a team at the cutting edge of talent support that is
committed to developing a world leading school sport system.
This post will involve extensive travel to our offices in
Loughborough and London and can be office or home based.
