School Sports Co-ordinator
North Bedfordshire School Sports Partnership
Full time fixed term contract until July 2011
Salary: For qualified teachers MPS + TLR 2.1
Organisation: North Bedfordshire School Sports Partnership.
The successful candidate will be based in Harrold Middle School and Margaret Beaufort Middle School.
We are looking to appoint a full time School Sports Co-ordinator (SSCo) from December 2008. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, pro active PE specialist to play a key role within a successful partnership which has been running since September 2004.
The position will play a key role in the national Schools Sports Partnership Programme.
The Co-ordinator will be responsible for two middle schools and their associated feeder lower schools.
They will also be responsible for the development of effective Club School Links, leadership and volunteering as well as develop high quality PE provision across the whole partnership. They will also manage the development of PE and school sport within their family of schools.
